Biography

Thanks for taking a peek at my eportfolio! I am originally from Bainbridge, OH and now live in the Chicagoland area. I chose the Digital Innovation in Marketing Masters degree program because I am fascinated by the evolution of Marketing and IT and how it’s changed the world. I am also very interested in what I consider to be the perfect cross-section of the two; Digital innovation.

I currently work as a Digital Product Manager for the Global Headquarters of the McDonald’s Corporation in Chicago, IL.  I am from northeastern Ohio, graduating from the Ohio State University with a BS in Personal Finance.  I obtained my MBA from the University of Phoenix – Ground, Central Ohio and am currently pursuing my MS in Digital Innovation in Marketing at the Fox School of Business at Temple University.  My career spans many different aspects of Information Technology; everything from coding and analysis to Project and Product Management for such companies as Nationwide Insurance and the American Medical Association.  I also enjoy many other activities outside of Corporate America, unabashedly diving into pursuits that excite me including running an online Travel Blog and eCommerce website, honing my acting craft, growing my Real Estate portfolio, and more recently, developing a digital innovation to support our Senior community.  The one thing I have learned across the many industries of my career and life experiences is the value of relationships and clear communication.

Thank you for stopping by!  This website is a combination of course work, practical application and my reflection of its source material and a view into the causes that both excite and propel me to make a meaningful contribution to my community.
