Process Model

Current Process Model:

As a potential Media,PA visitor, the current process to access information is inadequate. You start off by visiting the Media Business Authority website where you are met with an outdated design that lacks any information. You are then forced to redirect to their social media platforms which again are outdated. There is a missed opportunity here for potential visitors to be made aware of events before them happen. The visitor then has the run around of continually checking back on the social platforms to identify an upcoming event. They are then met with the issue of gaining important information (price, parking, backstory on small business, etc.). This leads to bad user experience which is followed by losing future business and opportunity to gain free marketing.

Proposed Business Model:

The proposed model helps solve the stated issues by making information readily available ahead of time, and creating a pleasant digital experience. Visitors will be greeted with a newly redesigned MBA website. The website will hold information on upcoming events, spotlight small businesses and allow users to sign up to receive alerts on news and future events. Visitors can then redirect to the social platforms that will be optimized to not only gain visibility but also create a community feel. All this combined will create a great user experience that will make the visitor continue coming back and referring friends as well.
