Companies are trying to find more ways than ever to improve online experience for their customers. Coming across an article in Forbes about the importance of the user experience, the author Casey Weisbach from One Source Media Group, explains the successes he’s seen when improving their UI.
Its pretty obvious if users are not going on your site and engaging, then you’ll see limited results. They took their customers interactions and experiences with their product to make changes instead of just what they thought the customer might want. This is important because this is coming right from the user who’s using the site and not just someone sitting behind a desk. Digital Interactions should be just as important as physical ones do. Thats draws volumes. Ten years ago, the digital landscape isn’t what its like today. Users are doing everything online, from Christmas shopping to buying groceries, this is how the world is now.
You have to know what the users are doing on your site. If you can see what they’re looking for or trying to accomplish, this allows you to develop more improvements to help the users, but also allows you create new forms that the customer might enjoy. This allows you to be cost effective too because you can see issues before it happens.
By creating a site that is easy to navigate and easy to use, you’re creating an enjoyable user experience. You have to remember to, your site might be the first impression of a company for a user. Make sure they enjoy it!
