How I ran the audio wiring for my receiver.

I had two ways that I could run wiring for my 5.1 surround sound from my receive: either wired or wireless.

I choose the aforementioned as with any technology, there is usually less on-going maintenance and less equipment used for much more stable results. The process involved:

• Drilling holes through my flooring to my basement
• Running the wires to where the speakers would be most acoustically sound
• Mounting the speakers on the wall
• Hiding the existing wires by either running behind something or cutting space in the drywall and sealing the wires under spackle
