Biography
I am a West Chester University Graduate for both my Undergraduate Degree and Masters in Arts. My Bachelor’s Degree was a double major in Spanish and German and double minor in Lingustics and International Business. My masters degree is in Spanish. After I graduated college, I have worked in the Spanish Interpretation and Translation field. I worked for immigration law firms, helping undocumented immigrants find a path to citizenship. I also volunteered at a local church to teach English as a Second Language. I love to help my community so I have been working for the local Elementary Schools for the past 6 years as a Spanish Interpreter. I help the parents who don’t speak English at Parent-Teacher Conferences and so forth. As I still keep my passion for working in the community, I also have found love for my full time job working at Bank of America.
I am excited to join the MS Digital Innovation in Marketing program because I love to constantly learn and grow. The more I learn about a specific topic, the more confident I feel. I currently work as a Spanish Translator for the Digital Marketing Team at Bank of America. I generally work on the Spanish side of our campaigns. I would like to be more involved in the process from start to finish and speak up during meetings, but I have not had the confidence to do so. I believe this program will equip me with the knowledge and skill set so that I can bring smart and innovative ideas to my team.
On a personal note, I am an avid runner, I run 8 miles a day. I also do crossfit 6 days a week, I love to travel, hike and I am obsessed with my goldendoodle. A dream of mine is to work under the Digital Marketing team for a an Athletic Company (Nike, Crossfit, etc) and also use my Spanish Language skills, this would tie together my personal interests alongside my knowledge and skill set from my career and education experience.
