I’m gonna go with craze on this one. It’s always fun to watch brands scramble to get in on the latest app, but I see this one being short lived.

I’m all for innovative concepts like this. This was done recently for Creed II as well: https://www.businessinsider.com/five-original-rocky-movies-free-on-youtube-in-time-for-creed-ii-2018-10
I think more marketing should be done this way. The buzz it generates is worth it, and the cost of releasing old content for free is minimal.

The ongoing wildfires in California have been the source of many heartbreaking stories. As of this writing, hundreds of people are still unaccounted for. In the politicized climate we live in, the fires are no […]

Listening to Brendan Walsh of Mole Street speak about experiential marketing reminded me of when I was involved in a somewhat zany experiential marketing campaign of my own several years ago.
At the time, I […]

Yes, I’m bringing up the old “Social media is just like a cocktail party” analogy. It’s often used, because it’s true.
The brands that truly understand how to use social media and what it is meant for, tend […]

I stopped clicking on clickbait a long time ago (hear that, Yahoo!?) but I’m always a sucker for a compelling headline. Here are 5 recent headlines/stories that I found to be compelling, and the reasons […]
