Hi Hilary!
It looks like we have some stuff in common. With baking or cooking there is this temporal element that capturing the final product with a photo is must. I never had the chance to work in the food industry but the way you describe the quick thinking and discipline that come with working in the kitchen, reminds me of set designing.. I remember leaving that job a few years ago feeling relieved that my body can function again without having to run through a 14-16 hour shift.
