Karen – I love that they are segmenting their marketing channel strategy to reach multiple audiences. I too believe that direct mail still has a place in the world.
While the 15 month restriction is a bummer, there’s always the influencer route 🙂

I can second Karen’s comments and affinity towards Instacart. As a single mom of three, the hours saved are well worth the markup and fees I am paying on Instacart. The app interface is extremely user=friendly and with my saved list, I can handle my grocery shopping in minutes compared to hours.
What would offset the extra cost vs.…[Read more]

We are working on creating more engaging content to help with brand loyalty. Being in the healthcare industry, my company helps package the world’s injectable medications – many life saving. The tagline is “By your side for a healthier world” but our content is very product/technical. The stories we have to tell about how we are improving…[Read more]

I love that you connected the class reading and applied it to what you’re working on at work! I think that you’ve done a great job at clearing out the excess material and improving the overall user experience. Keep up the good work!

I agree, I definitely think you are on the right path! Even though your mock up has less white space it seems more neat, simple, and to the point. I’m wondering if you’ve thought about changing how the menus will look when you open them and, in general, mobile design?

What happens when you’re signed in with your account? Does that populate more options to the right of “buy, contact us, careers”?

Christine – your proposal already looks much cleaner and easier to use. No doubt you will need to test it to see if what you’ve left is truly everything users need and to convince the C-Suite to let go of the items in the utility nav. Good luck! Can’t wait to see how this works out!

Christine, I think definitely on the right track! I like that you are making it into one heading. The way it seems now it seems like there are two global headers for navigation. I could see where this would lead to confusion. What parts of the website are most heavily trafficked? I know, I’ve ran into that problem, having something in the navigation and no one is going to it. or having way too many things.

I completely agree with you! I remember this video fondly – only because I LOVED the piano staircase concept but never recalled the connection to Volkswagon. I think they were focusing on creating a viral video, which I believe they did, but it did nothing for brand activation. Next time, connect the dots Volkswagon!

Great post Christine.
It seems like brand loyalty with Gen Z is dependent on customer experience through brands having solid products. Gen Z consumers want marketers to reach them with online ads that tell an authentic story, I agree that they they want resources and content that give them exactly what they’re looking for, because they are bombarded with info through screen time, it looks like they constantly evaluate unprecedented amounts of info and influences that lead to the buying choices they will make.

Love this! I have a lot of influencer friends who promote Daily Harvest pretty heavily and swear by it – guess they’re doing their jobs! Erin Morrissey, our speaker for 9/22, is one of those advocates – you should ask her about all of her healthy hacks! 🙂
I think you just influenced me to try this!
Haha yes! Let me know if you want a $25 code 🙂
I have seen the ads for this!! I haven’t jumped the ledge to buy it yet but I really want to try them soon! The packaging is super cute and very aesthetically pleasing. How do they taste? Are they like the HelloFresh Kits?
Kricket – these are even easier then Hello Fresh! Smoothies you need to add to a blender or harvest bowls, etc. that you can throw into a frying pan or heat in the microwave. Definitely as on the go as it gets!
Karen – I love that they are segmenting their marketing channel strategy to reach multiple audiences. I too believe that direct mail still has a place in the world.

I can vouch for taste and convenience. I’ve tried everything but the soups. There hasn’t been an item I haven’t loved. My absolute favorite are the bites – which are like good-for-you chocolate truffles. I keep them at work for my guilt-free afternoon pick-me-up – in fact, it’s almost time for one!
I wondered last night if “Erin Lives Whole” works for Daily Harvest – its a good brand fit for her! I just started following her so I’ll find out!
BTW: Just saw Erin cleaning out her freezer before her trip this week. Guess what she’s eating? Daily Harvest!!
