@arpana Hi Arpana! I noticed that you are skilled in market research. I’m interested in learning more about the process of gathering more information when it comes learning about my target audience. It’s so important! When you know more about your audience, it changes the way you speak to them and it’s the basis for a good marketing strategy. Can you advise someone like myself who has never conducted market research? What is the first step I can take to get started?
Hey Chelle,
Thank you for your question. Yes, I have done MR for multiple projects. I would say a thorough MR is the spine of any marketing strategy we are trying to create. In fact, research methodology is a full-term subject in management. However, I will keep it sweet and simple for you. https://articles.bplans.com/how-to-do-market-research/ Please check this link for initial ideas. To name a few, I have worked on user personas, interviews, and surveys. Gartner and other links shared on the temple site are a great source too. To boil it down, if there are two takeaways for you, I would say
1) Put yourself in your target audience’s shoes.
2) Don’t rush your research.
I trust I gave you a little bit of clarity, and it works for you.
Happy Learning!
Hi Arpana,
The article you attached is super helpful. Thank you so much.
My pleasure!
