Hey Alexis, great read.
I find it fascinating how much produce are wasted every single year due to mishaps that are easily preventable. I do not use a produce subscription service because I prefer to pick out my own stuff at the grocery store, but if technology was flawless, I would have no problem using a service that picks out my produce for…[Read more] -

Hey Sarah, Great Read.
Me personally, I am the old school kind of work out dude where I prefer to driving to the gym and working out. I know there is so much technology and apps out there that could replicate my workout at home but I just like the vibe of going. The technology behind the fitness industry is really good being able to show you all…[Read more] -

Hey Kate, great read.
Community fridges are a great way to help people who struggle with being able to consistently get a meal. I think one of the biggest issues with these are the integrity of the people who use it. If we are able to fix that problem, than community fridges can have a huge success in all major cities. I think sensors would work,…[Read more] -

Gabby,
This is such a cool concept, and never heard of this before. Maybe I will talk to my job about trying to implement this somehow. I think this is a creative way for company employees to get to know each other and the business. I just started a new job and the whole process of learning coworkers and the building was a bit cheesy. For my…[Read more]

This is such a cool concept and I hope it works just like it is described. I think adding internet to any area (on earth or out of earth) is a fantastic idea. Giving more opportunity for people to use the power of the internet and especially with Nasa, which I would think would help tremendously. I think it is safe to bring the internet…[Read more]

Great read and thought it was very informative. Personally I think blockchain is and will always be a tricky concept to explain but I know it is starting to be utilized in simple tasks to help systems run more efficiently. I think that the more that technology and cryptocurrency advance in everyday life, we will see decentralized…[Read more] -

Hey Morgan great read
I believe that cable will never go extinct. I think more people will stop using cable as more technology and streaming services advance more but I think they will always have a niche market that they can reach out too and still be profitable.
I think cable providers need to find a way to make there services cheaper. I…[Read more]

Great post, Brandyn, and very timely following yesterday’s meetup with Ajinkya Jogelkar! A strong value proposition goes hand in hand with identifying a solution to the customers problem, both centered around this concept of customer centricity. While a unique value proposition is incredibly important, I think one other point of consideration is the importance of authenticity. More often than not, I see companies misconstrue a compelling value proposition and, instead, craft a generic tagline. How does this differentiate YOU and your product?
Nice read!

Hey Henry, great read!
Me personally I do not know anyone who is on multiple medication but this digital innovation sounds like a great idea to reduce risks of bad reactions to drugs. This idea is possibly. Hi Brandyn,
Great post! I really like the digital kiosk idea. They could be placed every few blocks to make it accessible for anyone around to recycle. I think there are more pros than cons for this idea. But a downside for this digital innovation could be that these kiosks could get filled up easily and who would empty it? or how often would these kiosks get emptied out? or how would people know it still has water and food to give out? Also, making it digital can cause people who don’t know how to use digital technology to turn away and not use it. So this digital kiosk should be simple and fast to use. I like the idea how it would be free to use, I like that aspect.
-
Hi Brandyn,
This is a very interesting idea. I think it’s a good choice to start more incentives for people to recycle and if it could also help those in need then why not. I am not sure though if it is morally right to have the homeless be the ones cleaning up the streets. Most of the trash is probably produced by people that are better off than homeless people, so it just doesn’t seem right. But then again that is probably how most of the world works anyway. Your idea of just giving out food and water is good because it won’t incentivize other people who don’t need extra money to take an opportunity away from those that need it. I think it would be a great system to test out in some city and see how beneficial it is specifically to homeless people. It might not be a perfect system or the most ideal one, but if it could create some good and help out more people then it should have a shot.

Hi Brandyn,
This industry has always been much slower than the rest of the industries especially in the technology aspect of it. The agriculture goes back hundreds of decades without the use of any technology. I think a lot of these farms around my area are family ran and it looks like most of the older people are the ones doing all of the work which can make it hard on them. I like the idea of the thermometer that measures the temperature of the compost pile. I think one of the most important things for a farmer is their animals and crops and this technology would be so beneficial for them. Like Hillary said, I think it would be hard to convive some farmers to get this technology but if we got them on the same page, this would be super helpful and beneficial.
Great Post!

Hi Brandyn,
I honestly do think the benefit IoT is worth the risk. It terms of farming, the stakes are so high. If crops aren’t produced so many people are effected, literally lives are at stake, Another idea for IoT in terms of farming could be a small- drone like product that emits a sound or scent that is unbearable to insects. It could constantly fly through the farm, several of them actually, warding off insects. It can be a cheaper and healthier way to produce organic crops.
-
Brandyn,
Great read. I think your idea of an IoT thermometer would definitely be helpful to farmers. There is a company called Aerofarms, they are known for their hydroponic vertical farming technique. They have large warehouses that are more productive than the average farm of 50 acres. Their advancements using IoT in their farming techniques have made them a disruptor in the industry and a go-to resource by governments around the world.

I would not mind trying out a robot to help me with everyday life. None of my favorite businesses shut down during the pandemic but you can definitely tell that they were struggling.
