Anyone who watches The Bachelor or The Bachelorette on ABC knows that after the final rose (pun intended 🌹), comes a tidal wave of new influencers for products like FabFitFun, SugarBearHair vitamins, or MVMT watches. I was curious to know more about the world of influencer marketing, so I turned to our fellow cohort-mate, and my fellow Capstone group member, Emily Broxton.
Emily is works for a company called Dastmalchi in Newport Beach, California. The company owns a portfolio of lifestyle, beauty, and wellness brands and products. In her current role as an Account Manager, Emily oversees hundreds of influencer relationships with the Dastmalchi brands and provides creative marketing insights to establish and maintain the most effective content and campaigns possible. She started out as an intern but earned a full-time position with the company after a short period of time.
As a graduate of Temple University, when Emily started thinking of pursuing a secondary degree she needn’t look no further than her alma mater. The program came at the perfect time because she had just relocated to California and could attend classes digitally. Learn more about Emily and her experience in the infographic below.
