This Labor Day weekend I was bombarded with clickable sales content via my various social media platforms connected to my phone. I did make numerous purchases this Labor Day weekend, having been waiting for some things in particular to go on sale, but below are by far the three sales on which I spent the most. Without further adieu, the three most clickable social content pieces this Labor Day weekend were…
I discovered this content on Instagram, in an image post. The brand @teamiblends published this content, advertising 30% off their products throughout the holiday weekend. I did not share this content, because I rarely share things via the Repost App on Instagram, however, I did engage with this content by liking it, and clicked through to the website: https://www.teamiblends.com. I drink Teami Blends Tea regularly and used this opportunity to purchase a bulk order. The goal the business was trying to accomplish was pretty clear, brand awareness, to generate leads and increase traffic to their current sale offering by linking customers to the website to purchase. Overall, this was most likely a successful sale because it was a high percentage off the normally expensive products.
This is the second piece of content that I discovered in an image post on Instagram. The @goodamerican brand published this content, which advertises their 40% off sale on select items through the Labor Day holiday. The Good American brand, begun by Khloe Kardashian and her co founder, published the content. I did not share this content, again because I don’t repost things on Instagram usually, but I did click through to their website to purchase from the sale. Again, this was probably a successful sale because it was a high percentage off their normal product prices, bringing value to the business by providing brand awareness, generate leads and increase traffic to their current sale offerings.
Lastly, I found this on Instagram stories, on Kim Kardashians verified Instagram account. The brand that published this content was Kim Kardashians personal brand Instagram account, but the brand that it was advertising was KKW Beauty, Kim Kardashians makeup business. For this particular piece of content, I did share it in the way of a screen shot to my friends who also wear KKW products. However, I’m not sure how to share Instagram stories, so I wouldn’t have been able to share the content. The value brought to the business from this Instagram story was a clear way to partner with social influencers to build brand awareness, and ultimately to increase traffic and sales.
Overall, this was a very successful Labor Day shopping spree 🙂
