Work Experience

As Wellbeing Engagement Manager for Temple University Health System:

I plan, develop and execute communication strategies and materials for all phases of our employee engagement survey:

  • In 2016 and 2017, we exceeded our participation goals for our pulse and full surveys respectively.
  • Percent of engaged employees increased 3.9 percent from previous full survey
  • Engagement mean increased from 31st percentile in 2014 to 38th percentile in 2017.

I oversee outside communications consultants and manage communication activities with service providers and third party administrators to ensure consistent messaging and alignment with wellbeing strategies.

  • In 2017, our retirement plans reached a milestone billion-dollar mark  as result of financial wellbeing promotions with retirement plan service provider TIAA.
  • In 2015, marketing and communication efforts to introduce Accolade to our employees resulted in close to 50 percent employee engagement and $2M in healthcare claims costs savings.
    • Continued promotion in 2016 maintained engagement level and resulted in savings of $9.8M
    • In 2017, savings exceeded $13M and engagement of 53 percent.

I partner with our HR senior leaders to develop communication campaigns and change management programs to increase employee engagement for wellness programs, benefit initiatives, pension and retirement plan changes, compensation, performance management and career development.

  • In an effort to reduce the organization’s tax obligation, we created an education campaign focused on increasing participation in flexible spending accounts: 23 percent increase for 2017; 13.5 percent for 2018.
  • In 2017, we launched the organization’s first employee-focused performance management campaign and increased compliance by 8 percent.
  • In September 2018, we launched a campaign to introduce a new goals and behaviors based performance management plan called We Perform.

It’s really a great thought to start engagement surveys for your employees. We are also inviting our customers to take Telltims Canada survey at https://telltims-ca.com. Through this survey every participant will get a chance to win a Validation code to redeem their next visit.
