My Interests

All facets of digital marketing interest me but I find myself most drawn to the near-constant evolution of social media as a brand builder, a community builder and as customer service. My company is in a unique position in that although we are relatively young we are an associate sponsor of one of the most successful NASCAR drivers in recent history, Kevin Harvick. We are constantly working on ways to turn his very passionate and brand-loyal fans into customers and brand champions.

My personal interests include running, softball, fantasy sports and, much to my wife’s chagrin, video games.

    Hi John,
I am also drawn to the ever-changing world of social media. I find your point on customer service one that most people don’t often focus on enough for this medium. Many colleagues I have worked with and myself included tend to focus on the promotional aspects but customer service is ingrained in the platforms. Our brand has recently started receiving chat questions from other countries with different languages which is creating another interesting dynamic when it comes to social media interactions. Looking forward to discussing more in upcoming classes.
