JPMorgan Chase
From May-August 2015, I interned at J.P Morgan as an Operations Intern in the firm’s Newark, Delaware office. For the duration of my internship, I worked in the Global Compliance Operation sector in the the Anti-Money Laundering/Terrorist Financing department. My day-to-day tasks included analyzing large amounts of data and risk attributes (geographical, transnational, customer, product type, etc.) and reporting significant findings, reviewing triggered alerts through multiple databases to determine if there was evidence of money laundering or terrorist financing activity and evaluating various transactions and customer relationships. In my three months, I learned a great deal about the banking industry and the how crucial the operations department is to any company.
