Running:

After having spent my high school career playing multiple varsity sports, I felt lost without an active activity entering Temple.  Soon after starting school, a friend introduced me to the world of running and I was immediately hooked! Running has since become part of my daily routine.

Nutrition:

I have always had a deep interest and passion in maintaining a healthy diet and educating myself on nutrition. I make it a priority to eat a plant based diet with as much fruits and vegetables from local Philadelphia vendors as possible. I’m always looking for new recipes and ideas to incorporate nutritious foods into my meals. Additionally, I love trying and exploring vegetarian restaurants in the city; there’s almost too many options to choose from!

Net Impact:

In Fall 2014, I took on the role of  Vice President for the Fox School of Businesses Chapter of Net Impact. This student professional organization focuses on how business can make a positive impact on the planet and people, while still making a profit. Our weekly meetings consist of various guest speakers from socially aware companies, volunteer opportunities and planning for different sustainable events.

Phi Beta Lambda:

Since Fall 2013, I have held the position of Director of Operations for Phi Beta Lambda. In conjunction with Future Business Leaders of America, PBL is a non-major specific group that focuses on professional business development. Along with bi-weekly speaker, our PBL meetings are targeted at preparing members for our state competition held every April.

Resident Assistant:

Currently, I serve as a second year RA in the James S. White Hall Building on Broad Street. As a Resident Assistant, I supervise a floor of 30+ freshman students by advising students on personal and academic issues and confront concerns on racism, diversity, alcohol and drugs.
