I have worked at Terrain in Glen Mills, PA for almost eight years now. I started there as a pastry assistant at the end of 2014. I am currently working part-time as an events server now that weddings are back in full swing. For a long time, I didn’t really know what my longterm career goals were; I knew I wanted to eventually step out of the kitchen, but I needed time to figure out what the right next steps were. I wanted it to involve photography as well as food expertise. I had the opportunity to work “behind the lens” for Terrain’s marketing team a few times, and it sparked a serious interest in a new career path! Over the past year and a half, I was able to reflect on my priorities and put a plan in place to shift directions. I’m very excited to keep learning!
I hope to eventually land a spot on the Terrain marketing team so I can work on visual campaigns, product marketing, maintaining brand identity, as well as help launch them in new directions. I feel lucky to have an inside view of their weddings, catering, and site visuals. It’s a beautiful place to work!
