Importance of UX’s: Mobile Gambling

July 26, 2022 By Henry Fountain Leave a Comment

FanDuel was able to differentiate itself to consumers by excelling in its UX design. FanDuel has a well laid out GUI which optimizes a customer’s experience. FanDuel also periodically updates its platform to increase usability. The application’s buttons are in line with how a user would intuitively use the app. I myself am a user of FanDuel and not only are its promotions better than competitors, but I also believe its UX is superior to all other gambling applications. When it comes to sports gambling, timing is everything, and to be able to have a well created and easy to use application leads to my ability to live bet and take odds in my favor. Because of this, FanDuel will always have my business, especially over competitors whose UX lacks.

Has this ever happened to you: your favorite football team just got scored against, and with time running out, it doesn’t look too good? You check to see what the odds are, and you favorite team is now +100 to win the game? You have faith, so you’d like to take those odds and bet on your team, but your app isn’t loading, or finding the game is impossible, and before you get the bet in, your team scores on the kick return? Yikes, there goes your odds but at least your team is winning now right? Wrong, if only you had a better gambling application whose UX was smooth and easy to navigate. Enter: Fanduel.

Fanduel is by far the most popular gambling app and it’s not just because of their promotions, it is also regularly scored high when it comes to customer feedback. When dealing with live betting, games, and parlays, one must be able to swiftly navigate through different sports, games, and options for making the correct bet. They also have to do so in a timely matter, which calls for the navigation to be even more precise. Fanduel has way better search options than its competitors, as well as uses a simplistic user interface so that one is not drowning in options too early. It does so because of the mounds of customer feedback Fanduel receives and because of their agile project management method, Fanduel was able to adhere to customers’ comments and create a gambling app where even the least tech savvy person could still use it (a large portion of gamblers usually are given their age has to be over 21 to begin with). Because of this, I myself will always use Fanduel, and am awaiting the next update they have instore for us gamblers!
