Super interesting article. Maybe brands will consider Snapchat and Twitter more awareness building than conversion/acquisition sales. Google display ads typically get a .2% CTR or worse… does that mean we shouldn’t spend money on display ads a result? Interesting point, James. I still think advertising through Snapchat and Twitter is worthwhile for building and maintaining brand awareness even if those ad dollars don’t necessarily convert directly to sales.
