Discussed looking at the software side of fitbit since they already have the devices. Look at the use cases (supporting me as a mom, tri-athlete, etc.)- Moms are looking for updates on health. Also suggested some data to look at: Mintel Reports- 1. Marketing to Moms US-September 2017 and 2. Wearable Technology-December 2016. They thought it would be good to look at the wearable market growth, innovate on the technology, and where is Fitbit/ the wearable market stagnant and where is it excelling. For data on Moms, look at how they spend their time online, health and prepping their bodies for pregnancy, what relevant info are they searching for.

**Look at Revenue Model: Sell data? Moms buy the app? How will we hit the market with this? Who pays for it? How will it be funded? Stakeholders? Moms?

***Zero in on Value Proposition to this segment: we are competing against apps & websites, not just wearables.

Rebecca likes our visually appealing layout of our Services page and our Mission & Vision page as well as our mission statement.

They also suggested looking at Mom Technology on the broad spectrum in relation to the competitive analysis. (Mom Market & Wearable Market) Capturing market share is a smart way to go.

*They mentioned there are baby sites and mom sites but not many that have both-there isn’t a lot of places for integrated info.

****Our approach (they think) should be to present to Fitbit as the Innovation Team.

Discussed Millennial women/moms.  How/why they rely on their smart phones. How they want more value. How Fitmom needs to bridge the gap between online and the real world. Possible partnerships with Cafe Mom, Baby bump or baby center. Linda recommended we download media kits from these sites. We also discussed partnerships with influencers. Talked about a customizing survey, similar to flipboard. We talked about finding out more about which devices moms buy, looking more into the mom market, looking at what kind of information the want, and where the line gets drawn with privacy. We talked about getting government data relating to millennial moms for tableau.  We talked about finding out more about the ROI. We need to nail down what early mom means. The price needs to be lower. And make sure there is a android platform.
