My Interests

Photo of Erin Mihalik at a Football gameTemple Made, Temple Proud

Currently, I am employed as a Marketing Specialist for Temple University. I went to Temple for my undergraduate degree and I loved my time there, so I am really pleased to be back at Temple. I have only been in my current role for two years, but I’ve gained a lot of experience in that short time. I’m not sure which direction I want my career to go in, but I’d love to experience working for different industries and different sized companies in time. I’m especially excited to learn more about UX Design and see if that’s an avenue I want to pursue, but for now, I’m just enjoying what I’m doing and where I am. Bonus points if you’re a Temple alum and know who this legend is in the photo with me.

Traveling, Music, and More

As far as personal interests, I am a very big music fan. My favorites right now are The Band CAMINO, Misterwives, AURORA, AJR, Glass Animals, and the Jonas Brothers. I love going to concerts so I’m happy to see the world returning to some semblance of normal again.

I love to travel, my favorite place I’ve been to so far is Ireland. I studied abroad in England in 2016 and tried to make the most of my experience by traveling a lot while I was there.

Lastly, I’m a proud “plant mom” with a collection of over 30 house plants. I enjoy painting in my spare time and I’m focusing on painting terra cotta planters.

Erin, I love how you organized this section of your e-portfolio! 🙂
The amount of plants I leave with from Lowes……..glad to see I’m not the only plant mom here hahaha.
P.S. would love to check out your Etsy some time! I just recently got into using resin to create my own flower art pieces. I haven’t made an official Etsy for it, but being able to craft and create has certainly been therapeutic during these times,

Hi Gabi! Thanks so much 🙂 I am with you on the Lowe’s plants haha, glad we share that in common! I would be happy to send you a link once I have some more products up on the site. It’s brand new right now, so there’s not much to see. I agree though, crafting has been a life-saver the last few months!

Hey Erin, shout out to a fellow temple alum! I am definitely missing attending concerts during this time and I too am a self professed ‘Plant Mom’ haha! I’d love to compare notes about our green kids sometime 🙂

Hi Sunaina! Yeah, I think that was hardest thing going into this summer, knowing that there wouldn’t be any concerts 🙁 who do you like to listen to? Also yes we should swap notes/photos of our green kids (love that!) 🙂
