My biggest interest is not only my passion but also my career. I love graphic design and art. Feel free to check out my design portfolio It has a collection of both personal and professional works I have done. I love making other peoples ideas and visions into real tangibles. I remember my first couple of projects and weren’t great but I loved holding my final product in my hands knowing I started with nothing. There is an unmatched satisfaction when you complete a job AND the customer loves. To the right is just a recent logo I designed for a friend. It was one of those love at first sight moments, which was such a rewarding feeling.

One of my most time-consuming interest recently includes the newest member of my family Amber. She is very cuddly, and probably the worst watchdog on the planet. She falls in love with every human she comes in contact with. She’s quite the handful, but I can’t stay mad at her for more than a second because she just climbs into your lap (even while reading this weeks course work) and makes you forget why you were mad in the first place. Luckily I live so close to work that I get to come home and get puppy therapy every day during lunch hours.
I also enjoy dancing, I was a ballet dancer for over 18 years of my life and I still like to attend weekly classes on Sundays. If you follow my personal instagram you will see various posts in my story of videos of this week’s latest routine. It’s an insane workout and I walk around sore for days afterward but I love every second of it.
Hey Erin, your design portfolio looks great! Big fan of the Trekker logo. I too have homework cuddle buddies except they are cats! Looking forward to working on our semester long project together, it seems like we have a great team!
Quick question about some of the items in your design portfolio – how do you include your designs on mock books/magazine layouts like that? Are you physically doing that in photoshop/illustrator or is there a program that does it for you?
Thanks Dan!
Yep I do it in photoshop! If you go to a site like https://graphicburger.com/tag/mock-up/ they offer free psd downloads and you can add your design jpegs into them to mock them up 🙂 Its super easy.
