This Buzzfeed article was found on Facebook which is where i try to find most articles. I found it compelling. I was compelled by the article because I’m a big hunter for the bargains. When I saw the article about Labor day sales, I clicked on it faster than I could hit the like button. As with much of Buzzfeed’s content, the site is laid out in a uniform single plane that is easy to navigate. This provides a problem-free visit that resulted in an enjoyable experience.
This article was published by GQ and I found it on Facebook. The article was interesting for me because it speaks of getting in shape and that’s sort of a goal of mines currently. It’s also from one of my favorite publications because GQ focuses on men’s fashion. The design of the site lived very well with fun gif acting as the hero image.
This is an article by the LA Times on the historically slow Labor Day weekend at the box office. As I found it on facebook, I ran through the article because of my background in film. As a former film student, I still like to keep tabs on the industry as a whole. The design of the site is very congested with pop up ads almost everywhere, making it very difficult to just read the article. This gave me a negative experience and I found myself exiting about a quarter of the way through the article.
