Digital Analysis

How Does it Work?

The overall architecture of Ombuds.com is a third party, user-friendly desktop, and mobile app, that is a reporting application that allows all users to track the status of complaints. The three main stakeholders consist of the user, Ombuds and the university.

Process Map of OMBUDS

  1. Submission of grievance issue into ticket
  2. Adding additional information or opt-out of anonymity
  3. Resolving and closing a ticket
  4. After-ticket end-survey

Centralized Dashboard

The dashboard tracks overall status from the beginning of the process to the very end. It is the one source of “truth” for all incidents filed against the university and the accused offenders. This dashboard can be accessed 24/7 and status updates are in “real time”, therefore a user can log in anytime and anywhere to know the status of their complaint.

Ombuds also offers reporting capabilities which empowers universities to dive deeper and be fully aware of major issues that they are facing. In addition, they will be able to identify any repeated offenders.

The reporting capabilities will only be available to super admin as the information/data that will be stored will be extremely delicate and confidential. Ombuds is committed to providing full transparency, as such will be providing weekly status reports to the educational foundation.

Competitive Comparison

Our unique niche solution is all about transparency, we pride ourselves in communicating to stakeholders. We take the pressure off both the user and the university by being there for both.

Future Growth Prospects

Future third party partnerships with Ombuds- DEI organizations, non-profits. The reporting capabilities will provide universities insights as to what is happening around campus, being able to identify any “popular” incidents can provide the university an opportunity to focus on these incidents and bring awareness. (i.e.-if most complaints are due to sexual orientation is there an opportunity to create an organization within the university to support this cause?

Impact of OMBUDs in the Mobile/Social Space

Our pressure less solution makes it easier for a user to come forward, it will encourage all users to prioritize their safety and speak out.
