A – Excellent, professional or near-professional quality work on all dimensions. (Note that excellent deliverables are not enough for an A; communications, team management, project management and command of core concepts must all be excellent as well.)
B – Solid understanding of the issues, concepts and process but noteworthy lapses from professional standards along one or more dimensions.
C – Significant gaps in the team’s and/or individual’s understanding and/or poor performance on two or more dimensions.
F – Inability or unwillingness to perform. Also, plagiarism or lack of documentation are grounds for failure of the course. (See below for my strict Citation & Plagiarism Policy.)
Grades will be calculated based on the below breakdown:
|Individual Contribution – upon completion of the capstone, students will be evaluated by their mentors, peers and faculty advisor on their individual contribution to the Capstone Project.||15%|
|Deliverables – Each deliverable will hold equal weight and so a grade will be provided for each item individually and then averaged.||70%|
|Final Presentation Evaluation – Final Presentations will be evaluated based on professionalism, communication of concepts and overall project excellence.||15%|
