Helen Sanders
Helen is an IT professional with over 22 years of experience in database (backend) development. She has done digital marketing for a myriad of non-profits in a volunteer capacity and is currently pursuing a master’s degree in the DIM program at the Fox School of Business at Temple University so that she can offer her non-profit customers a more professional experience. Helen holds an MS in Educational Leadership, a diploma in Nursing and a Certificate in Computer programming. Helen and pivoted her career in 1997 when she left nursing for IT. Helen is very active in the technology community, and she received an ACE Associate award from Oracle, Corp. in 2019 for her contributions to the community. Helen is serving as the VP of the Pennsylvania Banner Users Group (PABUG) and is Content Chair for the Database/APEX and Emerging Technology Track for ODTUG’s Kscope20 conference. In her spare time, Helen enjoys days at the beach on the Eastern Shore of the Chesapeake Bay with her husband, their two dogs, and blended family of six.

Elaina DeHoratius
Elaina is currently a Graduate Assistant and Student Consultant at Temple University’s Small Business Development Center, an outreach center of the Fox School of Business and Management at Temple University whose mission is to help businesses start-up, grow and succeed by providing them with professional knowledge and assistance through consulting services. She graduated from Fox Honors with a BBA in Human Resource Management and International Business, with a concentration in Entrepreneurship and holds an MS in Globalization and Development Communication. She is currently pursuing her MS in Digital Innovation in Marketing, to round out her education and provide her with a more holistic view of how to create, analyze, and measure campaigns and various communications methods necessary to implement a successful digital marketing or communications campaign, in order for her to better serve her clients at the SBDC. She has been in the consulting field for the past two years, but has experience working in and with nonprofits, custom brokerage firms, marketing research facilities, and financial institutions in departments such as Compensation, Organizational Effectiveness, Talent Management, Legal, Risk, and Compliance. She has experience counseling and working with entrepreneurs, with business plan creation and development, and with conducting and providing customized industry, market, and competitor research/analyses.

Evelyn Teti
Evelyn has over 8 years of retail leadership experience in which she has discovered a passion for organization, merchandising and designing awesome customer experiences. Evelyn has worked with a broad range of clients from law offices, collegiate sports teams and retail companies with resounding success. She earned a Bachelor of Arts Degree from the University of Maine dual majoring in Analytical Writing and Crime Law & Justice. Evelyn’s creativity and passion for excellence sparked her desire to advance her education with Temple University and transition into a direct marketing role after graduation.

Christine Tase Williams
Christine is currently the Head of Marketing at DirectLync, a start-up outside of Philadelphia that recently launched a digital marketing platform for small businesses. She has experience building a digital marketing strategy from the ground up including – branding, positioning, channel strategy, content strategy, social, and more. She started at an agency and has a passion for implementing and optimizing digital marketing technologies as well as helping companies focus on the overall customer experience.

Damarah Brown
Damarah earned her Bachelor of Arts in Communication Studies with a minor in Marketing from Bloomsburg University of Pennsylvania. She is currently the Communications Assistant at Philadelphia Works Inc., the city’s workforce development board. Damarah is the voice of the organization both internally and externally to partners, stakeholders, and the media. She has two years of experience working at non-profits to ensure brand consistency and engagement through various social media channels. Before working in the non-profit sector Damarah worked in retail, gaining leadership and teamwork experience. Damarah hopes to use her Digital Innovation in Marketing degree to navigate through her career pathway.

Emma Levine
Emma, a New York native, is an experienced Finance Manager with a demonstrated history in the computer software and retail industries. She holds an undergraduate BA degree in International Business Administration from Temple University and is completing an MS degree in Digital Innovation in Marketing from her alma mater. Currently, she is living in Seattle and working at Microsoft in the Experiences and Devices division where she oversees the budgeting, forecasting, planning, and strategy of R&D resources. Emma has a passion for transforming data into meaningful insights, storytelling, strengthening business partnerships, and improving the customer journey.
