Prototype: Utilizing Justinmind or similar, develop/mock up the specific user experience, design, and or user interface which you are proposing to change or develop. Your final presentation should include a demonstration of this mockup for your target audience.

Final interactive prototype will include the following:

MENU OPTIONS / I want to learn, compete, share

  1. LEARN: users cook alongside real chefs’ onscreen instructions. Chef X is in the kitchen with them.
    1. Complete instructions for preparing one gourmet meal. (3 total dishes timed properly)
    2. Preview video and photographs
  2. COMPETE: Play as you cook. Gain points, play against others, unlock skills. A leaderboard builds ‘street cred’ and helps earn social validation.
    1. Actual time(s) for skill exercise, prep, completed meail
      1. Timers
    2. Leaderboard skills learned
  3. SHARE: an active, engaged multiplayer cooking community will ‘feed itself’ with UGC.
    1. Photography of dishes, equipment used, and ingredients
      1. Photo uploading capability
    2. Photo rating

Note: Tentatively planning to integrate a feature:

  • Automated “Get-it-Right” Shopping List
    • option to send to email, export to Notes app, or possible add to cart of a partner (e.g. Instacart, Peapod, FreshDirect)
