Gina Benigno

CULINARY EXPERIENCE: BALLIN’ BAKER

FAVORITE DISH: FILET MIGNON

Gina is a Southern New Jersey native planting roots in Philadelphia, PA.   With a degree in broadcast journalism and a passion for video production, she integrates creativity and strategy into each piece of content she produces for the web.  In her current role as Video Production Manager for the department of Strategy Marketing and Communications at Temple University, she leads the university-wide vision for video content on its digital channels.  Gina works with colleagues in web, marketing, and editorial, as well as campus partners, to develop multimedia strategy, considering all aspects of how to make the video engaging, useful and shareable for specific audiences.

Sheryl Kantrowitz

CULINARY EXPERIENCE: RED HOT ROASTER

FAVORITE DISH: SUSHI 

Presently Sheryl is an assistant professor in the Department of Advertising in the School of Media and Communication (SMC) at Temple University in Philadelphia, PA. She has served twice as the faculty advisor of Temple’s School of Media and Communication’s Study Away program in London and has taught a wide range of art direction, portfolio and digital media and advertising courses.  Sheryl has served as the Faculty Advisor for the National Student Advertising Competition (NSAC) and is currently working with AAF and a select team of students to create a campaign for a youth service club network called generationOn.

Sheryl spent almost 10 years in the advertising industry honing her skills working for various agencies and personal clients as an art director. She has worked for small branding consultancies as a visual strategist (TONIQ), large NYC agencies launching new products (Grey and Saatchi), and on her own, she has worked directly with clients, helping them to redefine their brands from the ground up.

Gennie DePass

CULINARY EXPERIENCE: MEXICAN FOOD MAVEN

FAVORITE DISH: SHRIMP TACOS

Gennie is originally from Utica, NY but moved to Philadelphia, PA in 2010 in order to attend Temple University and pursue a bachelor’s degree in Journalism.While completing her undergraduate degree, Gennie met the Director of Talent Management for RedPeg Marketing, an experiential marketing agency based out of Alexandria, VA.  She began learning the ins and outs of the marketing industry and especially became interested in the digital side of it.

Currently Gennie is the Communication and Membership Relationship Specialist at the African-American Chamber of Commerce of PA, NJ & DE where she manages all communication and marketing.  Additionally Gennie works on freelance design projects in her spare time.  She hopes that completing Temple University’s MS Digital Innovation in Marketing program will help to enhance her digital strategy skills and all her to further advance in her marketing career.

Nicole Jengeleski

CULINARY EXPERIENCE:  PROFESSIONAL PIZZA ORDERER

FAVORITE DISH: PENNE VODKA

Nicole is truly passionate about the media industry. She loves learning of new media opportunities and following media trends. Currently she is a Media Planner at CMI, a pharmaceutical media agency. As a Media Planner, she strives to reach her client’s target audience most efficiently and effectively. Prior to joining the pharma industry she worked at Bellevue Media Group in Philadelphia, PA. At Bellevue Media Group, she was a Media Planner and worked across multiple industries including universities, corporate staffing firms, and healthcare facilities. Her love for the media industry began as a student at Temple University where she graduated from in 2012, magna cum laude with a degree in Advertising.

Aside from work, she enjoys running and working out. She has run 10 half marathons across the country in the past two years and loves to cook, specializing in brunch and smoothies. She grew up in Brigantine, NJ and escape there throughout the summer any chance she gets to spend time with my family and relax on the beach.

Cady Hurtzig

CULINARY EXPERIENCE: UNCRUSTABLES CONNOISSEUR 

FAVORITE DISH: ROSEMARY CHICKEN, SHALLOTS AND MASHED SWEET POTATOES

Cady Hurtzig is originally from the Pocono Mountains, but currently resides in Brooklyn, New York. After graduating from Temple University in 2014 with a Bachelor of Arts in Strategic Communication, she decided to further challenge herself and work towards the MS Digital Innovation in Marketing. Her passion for technology started the moment she began working for Apple Inc, and blossomed even more after starting her marketing journey with MRM//McCann in Manhattan, New York.
