Alison Ebbecke is an Assistant Professor with the Advertising Department, specializing in media strategy and digital advertising. Prior to joining Temple full-time, Alison spent nearly a decade as a media professional and account manager working on campaigns at the regional and national level for a variety of brand categories including tourism, entertainment, insurance, automotive and CPG. Over this time, she experienced first-hand the speed and scale of change that our increasingly digital world is driving within the advertising industry.
As the Advertising Department expands the emphasis of digital and media skill sets, Alison looks forward to leveraging her experience to help enhance the curriculum. In 2015, she established Temple’s inaugural competition team in the Google Online Marketing Challenge (GOMC). This global competition offers Temple undergraduates the opportunity to translate the lessons they have learned in the classroom into real-world experience developing and running an online advertising campaign for a business or non-profit organization.
Alison received her Bachelor of Arts in Journalism, Public Relations, & Advertising from the Temple University School of Media and Communication and is currently pursuing a Master of Science in Digital Innovation in Marketing from the Temple University Fox School of Business and Management.
