I am sure I can speak for everyone when I say Chick Fil A has such a unique user design and experience they put out to their customers. Not only does Chick Fil A have amazing food, their user experience is just over the top outstanding. From the moment you arrive on Chick Fil A grounds, someone is greeting you and then pointing you in the right direction to get your food. You do not sit there for more than 10 minutes to get your food. They always say “It’s my pleasure” when they hand you your food. It is incredible the system they have going and I will always pick Chick Fil A over another fast food restaurant for this reason. It is more than just getting a meal, it is the actual experience that brings back the customers.
One thing that has made the UX so much more efficient is the Chick Fil A app. According to John Weatherford from the University of Georgia, states that, “Mobile is becoming inextricably integrated into every facet of life”. I couldn’t agree more with this post. Technology is at the palm of our hands so why not take advantage of it. As soon as you open the Chick Fil A app you are receiving pop ups of your current rewards that are available for you. Then you can either pick up your order at the restaurant or have it delivered to you. If you order on the app at home, the app tracks your location so that when you arrive at Chick Fil A, your order is ready for you. They have the entire menu on this app and you can customize something if you prefer.
Another thing that stands out to me when visiting a Chick Fil A location is that they are very consistent and cohesive. No matter what location you are at, the employees are very professional yet engaged with their customers from start to finish. The entire team makes sure that every customer feels appreciated and welcomed when they visit any Chick Fil A location. This mobile design that is easy to navigate makes for a better user experience.
