I enjoyed reading this post. The data was really telling, and I find it ironic that you performed the polls on Facebook. I am curious how the results would have been if the poll was extended over a week period than 24 hours. Polls are a great way to collect data!

Good post Mallory! I enjoyed reading this. I agree that people care about their privacy, but are clueless as to what is going on, and not making an effort to try and understand how it works. This is such a hot topic right now, so it is on everyone’s radar, but once this loses some steam (can’t see it completely blowing over), these same folks may forget all about it.

Hi Jonathan! My first gut feeling about this is a weird one. I would feel weird knowing someone may have a preconceived idea about who I am, and feel like it could add to the already awkward situation of sitting next to a stranger. I fly all the time and think that I may only consider this if it were an overseas flight.

Mallory, such a good summarization of ways that marketers can set goals and measure success! So professionally, setting KPI’s and goals for digital campaigns has not been something that I have had the privilege of doing, but in my experience with my own recipe blog it is something that I do frequently. What started out as just a passion project, has bloomed into me directly applying social strategies to apply my own “brand,” so to speak. I know what has been successful to me is consistently scheduling content, constantly checking the temperature of what my audiences response, and adjusting accordingly has yielded the most success.
