Having been a child of the Star Wars era, I grew up wanting to be involved behind the scenes of films making models, creating puppets, and in general just making “movie magic”. This childhood passion formed my future interests and subsequent career path in the digital space. While I’m not making mechanical puppets out of rods, string and foam rubber – I do create beautiful digital experiences.
My love for creating things extends far beyond the walls of my office. When I’m not managing large scale platform integrations, or helping launch interactive experiences for consumers – I can be found in my woodshop building furniture, at a lake painting, or renovating a part of my house. When I’m not “building” or “creating” something – I like to broaden my educational horizons by taking piano lessons, learning a new language (currently Spanish), reading, catching a film, or, if time allows – vent my hectic schedule out on a video game (usually something between 8 and 16 bits).
